With colder months just around the corner now would be an excellent time to mention running apparel and wearable technology. Just like everything else that I have mentioned in previous articles, running apparel has key specifics to aid you to peak running form. Wearable technology and running apparel has changed since its creation several generations ago. Running technology is everywhere and like all other technologies around us that constantly improving, the latest and greatest thing is always about to come out. There is no way to prevent this constant cycle of the new and improved but what you can do is find what is reliable and what isn’t made to be outdated quickly.1 What I have learned what is affordable and reliable is any Garmin exercise equipment, between watches, heart rate monitors, and footpods Garmin keeps good track of updating GPS satellites and runner’s needs. A runner without a watch is like a carpenter without a hammer, it is a must Garmin GPS watches help you keep a sound mind on your capabilities, learning to listen, and understanding your body more as you grow from being a novice runner.

Apparel..
Running apparel is crucial, not only does apperal have handy gadgets like reflectors and pockets it is also made for comfort and speed. Running shorts may seem awkwardly short and you may not be fond of the very vibrant colors but once you get over the looks of your running clothing you begin to realize the good qualities they possess. The shorts are made at a specific length because it helps promote proper running mechanics and knee drive. What comes with running apparel is the ability for it to keep you cool with its moisture wicking features, these features help prevent heat strokes rashes and blisters on your toes and body. Long sleeve and Short sleeve t-shirts are also made to be taken off when running, when you are in the middle of a run and are beginning to get to hot it is necessary to remove articles of clothing. When removing your shirt you will notice that the stretching motion you are doing to the shirt actually creates tiny holes in your shirt that you can still clearly see and there will be no surprises when your head is popped back out of the shirt.

  1. I love your quote, "runner without a watch is like a carpenter without a hammer, it is a must Garmin GPS watches help you keep a sound mind on your capabilities, learning to listen, and understanding your body more as you grow from being a novice runner." There really isn't any way to improve if you don't know what your stats are currently. Garmin has always seemed like a legitimate company. I'll keep that in mind for my next purchase!

  5. That is true. Wearable technologies are crucial for running and other activities. Nowadays people are getting aware and using it in their routine life. I absolutely agree to the fact that the use of gadgets like GPS tracker, heart rate monitor, iPods, quality speakers and all have increased prominently.

  6. Wearable technology is not only changing the way we do sports but also helping partially sighted people "read" on their own. These glasses for visual disability is a unique artificial vision product that reads text from any surface, identifies products and even recognize people's faces.
